You're An Idiot!

Those are the words I shouted to my scales this morning. I mean really ...what does it do? See me coming and then laugh to itself saying, "Let's add a few pounds and see her reaction?"

Well thank you very much b/c I won't be getting on you again until next Monday..."Operation get the weight off" starts today. Back on Weight Watchers! It worked when I did it last May when I got the rest of Lily's baby weight off...I can do it again. I'm guessing the 10 lbs over the last 13 weeks came from pregnancy and the past 2 weeks of mourning the loss of that baby. I just didn't really care that Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwich sounded good 3 or 4 or 5 days in a row for lunch. So now I'm paying for it. I wonder if Wii Fit works?? I've seen it, but never talked to anyone who has used it. Is it worth the $$$? I can't head to the gym since I have Lils so this would be the best thing. Stay tuned for that chapter!

Recap of the quick weekend!Hubs thought I was still feeling kind of down...so Saturday he went to buy me a present. Most men buy jewelry or clothes or perfume for their women. Not my country boy. He buys me guns or boots. So what did he return with? Well I named her Bonnie. Ain't she tiny and cute? Easy to wear under dresses and skirts this summer!

Sunday my In Laws came to babysit Mini Me and Lily so we could take the boys to the gun range. It was their first trip to shoot and they were in total heaven!! They were soooo excited and (calm) and so so so thankful. That is all they talked about all evening! I was shocked at how well my oldest could handle a shotgun. I guess it's a boy thing!! I got to try Bonnie out and she worked great....barely had a kick!
The in laws took the girls shoe shopping....we get home and each girl had 4...yes 4 new pairs of shoes! LOVE MY MOTHER IN LAW WHO HAS A SHOE OBSESSION! WOOHOO
ok...I'm off now to not think about food!

wii fit is totally worth it. 2 summers ago i lost almost 10 pounds on it....but i was also eating healthy ;)

good luck finding a wiifit in stock. it took me a while to find one after buying my wii. i had one when it first came out and then got rid of it. apparently they have some kind of shortage and stores only get them one at a time.

your mother in law is my kind of person...4 pairs of shoes...yes please.

I LOVE Weight Watchers! I've been a Lifetime member for almost 2 years, and I regularly sub at meetings. It really teaches you great habits. I gained some back after my wedding last summer, but I'm back at it again! My newest thing is trying to eat more natural foods as opposed to processed, packaged stuff. The pounds are coming off slowly, but surely!

I have a Wii Fit...I used it for about 3 months and then got bored with it. I think some of the things like Wii Active may work better, but for me, yoga and strength training just wasn't cutting it. I need some cardio! My husband got me an elliptical off Craigslist for Christmas, which has been a lifesaver. I also take regular walks with my puppy dog, and I just joined a women's running group that meets every Saturday morning. I have a few free weights that I use regularly too.

Good luck!!

Wii Fit is great. I recommend buying the Wii Fit plus as well. It's an add on to the original that has a ton more exercises and tracks your progress better. The yoga is a little bit pointless but I am exhausted after doing the hula hoop challenge. Also, it's fun!!

We just bought my son a wii for his birthday this weekend so I'm going to have to invest in the wii fit and give it a shot! Love the gift by the way, and my husband always forgoes the jewelry and buys guns or something of the same liking as well!! Go figure...

I love that you got a new gift (: & the gift you got!!!

We bought my mom a wii fit for Christmas and she LOVES it. It has yoga on there too so you can just do that for an hour if you want, but it really gets you going!
Mm I love the weight watchers veggie soup - 0 points! I ate it for a week straight and lost 8 pounds! So that's a tiny little gun.. Your going to be packing this summer? That thing is tiny!

Hahaha, my boy is just like your boy! I've gotten 2 guns within the 5 years that we've been together. My most recent is a Ruger .380. It's tiny and cute too, but Bonnie is just ADORABLE!

That's just the itsiest cutie pie of a gun ever! I wouldn't mind learning to shoot one day. Maybe I shoot start with by using the scale as a target!
I think you've found the perfect target for practice! Just take that scale out back and show him who's boss! :) Don't sweat those few lbs...I know they'll come off.
I should do WW with you!!! It's swimsuit season and I am scared to show myself off! Ha!

PS- I love Bonnie!! I want to shoot her sometime!

That little gun is cracking me up! So dang tiny! Is it accurate? I have no idea about the wii fit but I did P90X after I had my E and it was the best workout EVER! Seriously I ran track, played basketball and I was never as in good a shape as I was when I did p90x! It is hard, but I still do some of the workouts now and Miss E dances to the music so it works out good for us!

I have always wanted a "Bonnie"... How cute!
And yes, the scale is ALWAYS an idiot. It have just come to the conclusion is sucks at Math and just isn't good with numbers. This last week while I was on vacation I ate a ton. The scale is trying to tell me that my weight has gone up 5 lbs. REALLY! That's not even possible. I must be getting old :)

I used the wii fit for awhile and lost about 15 pounds from doing 20mins of yoga everyday and WW! Now I'm running and doing WW and am down 24 pounds. I think consistency is key, no matter what option you go with, and you'll be stellar!

ditto to the scale!
and yay for weight watchers! i think it's one of the easiest diets to stick with. you can eat real food instead of packaged diet stuff.

Oh man gotta love a guy who buys boots and guns. Yet another reason for me to go to WTAMU if he's an example of what they turn out. ROTFL
