When we miscarried baby #5 (prayers please because we are trying again) I was devastated! I thought for sure they didn't have a clue what they were talking about...I mean I had 4 healthy easy pregnancies before why should this baby be any different? But at my 10 week appt they gave me a different story! The baby's heart wasn't beating. I don't remember what they said after those words ..... I let it sink in when my husband I were alone together. "I want our baby......I wanted this baby so badly.....Why us...why this baby???"

But then I was reminded...God is Good. He knows the desires of our heart and what we are capable of ....He felt our little one wasn't ready and was called home. (hubby secretly hopes for twins next...an extra bonus for the one lost ha ha)
We told people at 6 weeks of this pregnancy and had to go through the explanations...It really helped hearing others tell their stories of loss and then next the praise of a healthy baby, so I remain hopeful!
I know how blessed I was to carry that baby no matter how short that time was. Babies are a blessing (no matter how they get here or who carries them) This baby was loved before it was even conceived and still now after.
